Good question! Many people do not know what a travel consultant does or how they get paid for their services.

Here is a list of what I can do for you, but feel free to contact me if you have other questions that aren't covered here!

1. Vacation Packages- Virtually any package that you see advertised anywhere can be booked through me. As a member of the Vacation.com organization, my prices are as good or better than many.

2. Specialized Independent Tours- Sometimes the best way to vacation is to put your own "package" together. This allows you the greatest flexibilty and more options. There is a $50. "plan-to-go" fee for this, but it is always applied to the cost of your trip when you book through me. Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa are destinations that I often put specialized trips together.
"One size" does not fit all when you are traveling!

3. Cruises! - Treat yourself! You haven't lived until you've cruised. Try it and see for yourself!

4. Airline Tickets- There are SO many choices for flights today- charter and scheduled! Don't let all the options confuse you. Let me explore ALL your options and get your best rate.

Since airlines no longer pay commissions to agents there is usually a service fee included in the price. This fee ranges between $25. and $50. (+ tax) depending on the airline involved.

5. Travel Insurance- I strongly recommend travel insurance. Many credit card insurance policies do not provide the comprehensive medical and cancellation insurance that I can be provide. You can only travel with peace of mind when you know you are covered for any emergency.

6. Hotel and Car Reservations- When these are made in conjunction with air tickets, there is never a service fee.

However if you would like individual reservations I do charge a fee per reservation.

7. Travel Documents & Advisories- I will always advise you on document requirements for your destination. Today it is getting more difficult to travel without a Passport and sometimes visas. Always check to be sure.
